Executive and Business Coaching

Executive and business coaching helps business executives and owners improve business performance and operation of their business. The goal of a business coach is to help you grow your business. Yet, developing personal skills and abilities that improve an individual’s performance within the company is also essential. My work bridges the gap between mentor and business coach; we work together to find ways to improve the top and bottom line of the business while identifying opportunities to enhance individual skills that may be impeding business success.

My approach

In the mentor role, I help clients navigate self-identified challenges that are or might become, barriers to business success. For example, we might work through fundamental business challenges, strengthen understanding of business administration and management, or improve leadership skills.

We might also work to strengthen overall individual skills and abilities for long-term personal growth. The emphasis here is on a relationship-centered approach that leverages my experiences to help clients add “more tools to their toolbox” to achieve long-term goals as it relates to business operations and growth.

When wearing my coach cap, I help clients identify and evaluate specific challenges affecting business success. We work together to find those things necessary to improve individual performance, and then develop an action plan to get to the next level.

Here we focus on things that are granular to improve the probability of daily success in business. We might assess a new idea or direction for the company, or work through disruptions that are stalling growth, for example. The work might also be on a more personal level such as overcoming time management challenges (distraction and procrastination), bolstering decision-making processes, or strengthening communication skills.

I have a passion for helping others achieve their goals. As a serial entrepreneur who has also worked with many entrepreneurs and small business owners in growing their business, I have a lifetime of hands-on experience. As a mentoring client, you can learn from my mistakes and failures, as well as my successes. I also have a formal education in business management and entrepreneurship, including a BBA with Entrepreneurial and Small Business Managment focus, a Master of Entrepreneurship degree, and I am currently working on a Doctorate in Organization Development and Change.

As a coaching client, you can take advantage of my experice as a performance coach and my extended training in coaching methodologies. Moreover, I am working toward the certification requirements as a Certified Professonal Coach and I abide by the guidelines and code of ethics of the International Coaching Federation.
