About Doug Bellah
Doug Bellah is a management consultant and executive coach with significant experience leading and supporting teams in Fortune 50 companies in retail, manufacturing, and broadcast media. Combining operational leadership and human resources experience coupled with his thirst for continual gathering and sharing of knowledge, he brings a blend of practical application and academic theory to the work environment with a people-centered approach. He is an executive consultant with David Harkins Company, LLC.
Doug’s work focuses on leadership development, talent development, succession planning as a part of business strategy, inclusive environments through the creation of shared narratives, and employee engagement. He is skilled in hosting organizational change through generative processes that leverage individual and team strengths to facilitate change.
As a trusted advisor, he brings significant experience in providing a safe spaces to share ideas, facilitating individual and team growth through inquiry, and experience in small and large group training and development sessions with intentional topics including DEI, successful mentoring, and the importance of networking. Building individual development roadmaps for future role competencies in the succession planning process, organizational design, leadership coaching, and team building are also areas of Doug’s expertise.
Doug currently sits on the HR Advisory Board for the Children’s Advocacy Center as well as an advisor to the Bowling Green State University College of Business. Doug’s passion for helping organizations that desire to make a positive social impact is seen in his volunteering history. Knowledge sharing to provoke positive change in our world leads to a more sustainable future for all. Doug has a certificate in leading generative change and is pursuing coaching certification.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University, an MBA from Bowling Green State University, and is ABD in the Doctorate in Organization Development and Change program at Bowling Green State University. Doug holds certifications in Predictive Index, Everything DiSC and Korn Ferry Competencies.
